PRESS RELEASE (August 14, 2019) – Bank of America has named Tony Bland as its Managing Director and Market Executive for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He will be based in Washington, D.C.
Bland’s responsibilities include leading Merrill Lynch’s locally based Financial Advisors, Corporate Benefits Specialists and Private Wealth Advisors, as well as managing all Merrill Lynch offices in the Greater Washington market. Previously, he was Merrill’s Managing Director and Market Executive in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where he also served as Bank of America’s Market Integration Executive for Broward County.

Bland succeeds longtime Managing Director and Market President Jeff Wood, who has taken on a new role as Regional Managing Director of Private Wealth Management for the Mountain West region, based in Los Angeles.
Bland’s duties in South Florida make him particularly well qualified for his new role as Merrill’s Managing Director.
